Balancing Active and Receptive Mindfulness: An Online Exploration

Skillful practice involves balancing the active and receptive components of a moment of mindfulness. Given dominant society's leaning towards more active modes of being, we will encourage engagement with the Buddha Dhamma from the paradigm of receptivity, allowing ourselves to be touched by life and recognizing our deep belonging in this world. By dropping out of our usual mind-oriented relationship with the world and down into the body, we will nourish awakening from the heart. Our time together will include meditation, a dharma talk, and time for questions and discussion.
